Special Effects Technician

This role is aimed at applicants with prior SFX experience. Applicant should be confident and enthusiastic with eagerness to grow as a technician and as part of the Stage FX team.
 

As a SFX Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·    Preparing and testing equipment using the equipment allocated to the job via Stage FX’s booking system.

·    Installing, programming, operating and de-rigging SFX.

·    Learning and following the HSE standards of the Middle East.

Project Manager

Applicant should be confident with proven work experience as a Project Manager, showing excellent communication, leadership, organisational and time management skills.

 It is important that you have the following Skills and Experience:

·     Highly organised and able to deal with multiple projects at once.

·     Computer literate and able to navigate online booking systems.

·     Good technical knowledge and understanding of live event technology.

·     Good English writing and communication skills.

·     Ability to cope under pressure, delegate tasks, set deadlines and keep team members motivated.

·     Inspire the team environment with an open communication culture.

·     UAE Driver’s License

 

As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·     Planning and allocating equipment and cable required for jobs.

·     Overseeing the installation, operation, and de-rig of SFX and Laser set-ups.

·     Completing all necessary paperwork such as Health and Safety documents, risk assessments and local authority approvals accurately and on time.

  • Ensuring the safety of the team and the completion of a successful event.
